From 2-5pm There will be an unveiling of "The Lesbian Legacy Wall".....a new art installation created by LEX-the Lesbian Exploritorium at the ONE Archives. A floor to ceiling collage of historic Lesbian Magazine Covers from 1948-2008. Hosted by Jeanne Cordova with a performance from San Francisco poet, Judy Grahn ;lus video and slide presentation. Friday eve: Film showing of "Secret No More: Lives of Del Martin & Phyllis Lyon" presented by a member from OLOC. This portion of the Conference is dedicated to Del Martin who passed away last year. Del Martin, was a lesbian rights pioneer whose trailblazing activism spanned more than five decades and her last battle was for same-sex marriage. She died just two months after she made history again by wedding her longtime partner Phyllis Lyon in San Francisco City Hall. Wednesday eve Harbour Boat Cruise (extra activity), stimulating workshops all day Frinday and Saturday morning, luncheon on the patio on Friday noon with special guest speaker, choice of Saturday afternoon activities, Saturday dinner, etnertainment and dancing and...the 1st BOLD FILM FESTIVAL Sunday afternoon and evenng September 13.

Every Wednesday meet in Griffith Park Los Angeles California for a Conditioning Hike with the Gay & Lesbian Sierrans' A moderate - 5 mi RT, 1145' gain - hike to Mt Hollywood. Meet at 7:00 PM by the vending machines at the Griffith Park Headquarters/Visitors Center on Crystal Springs Rd. This is a great midweek workout. Wear lugsoles for good traction or be careful if wearing sneakers. Bring water and snacks. We have three tiny breaks on the way up, stop at the top, gawk at the city lights 'til we get a chill and then return to our cars by approx 9:30 PM. To get to Griffith Park HQ, exit I-5 at Los Feliz and go west. Turn north on Griffith Park Dr. Pass the first stop sign. The second stop sign is at the Ranger Station. Turn right into the parking lot. Well-behaved dogs welcome - bring extra water and leash. The Lavendar Livingroom ladies and other women from the Ojai Womens Community love to make this trek as this is a wonderful Los Angeles Hot Spot of Interest and History and the Observatory was set up audio and visually speaking with a womans company
