Next choice will surprise you and amaze you and we think you'll dig it...!!Terri Clark - Fearless
Country Cool with Flair and style. Definitely distinctive vocals with a really cool fashion style. The White outfit is the KIND!!! Lookin' hot and Soundin' good. Next time she plays the Ventura Fair better go see her or you'll be kickin' yourself later when your mother-in-law comes back from the concert and tells you, "She reminds me of you!". She'll knock your socks off (Where did they go). And that ain't no lie.
Paula Cole - Female Vocalist Songwriter Phenom!
You must check out what music she has created and how she needs to get the Music Production Company that is holding her album hostage from her songwriter self created not to long ago. A must visit to hear it in her own words see it in writing and really understand. She is still a great artist and musician and her songwriting is still that good.
Aimee Francis In Los Angeles NOW
Stevie Ray Vaugh - Double Trouble
Blues Rules, calling up his spirit to flow through your fingertips. Girls or Boys, Women or Men - we all wanna be like Stevie. He's the man with the mostest, bestest and hottest lead guitar playing with that voice of the old masters that just draws you in.
Gina Schock - House of Schock
Blast from the past, cruisin Album, tunage for days -- yeah, before the GoGos. Unfortunatley is a 'tape' release and ours is all worn out. So Gina, a little "ROK" tip. Recut that album and put it on disc. Need any help let us know. The masses should not be denied.
Paula Cole - This Fire ~ Amen
Awesome, intricate, intense vocalizations. Where is she now? Wondering when we'll hear those haunting vocals up and down the register. Paula's albums are filled with interesting things to hear and wonder.
KD Lang - (Pick any Album)
Innovative and inspiring. This Canadian Country 'croonress' is delicious. One day maybe the "ROK" will have the opportunity to collaborate on an album. Hook in some of those KD Lang hot lead vocals with one of the "ROK"x premiere harmonizers', head into the studio and wait for the musical magic.

Indigo Girls - (Pick any Album)
Blow me away Musicians, dark/light, yin/yang ZingBadahBing they the Thing!!!! Their newest release "Become You" is an awesome blend of Amy and Emily. A little different than other albums, it's still recognizable as theirs. It's an extrodinary mix of what we are used to and an new introduction for us into another realm of their combined efforts and talents. Yes, this is one of those albums to keep in the changer. Track 4, 8 and 10 would be favorites for sure if they were played in the main stream. Yet, the album as a total is awesome, another successful album for the girls. Can't wait for the next one.!

Melissa Etheridge - (The Awakening)
Always and forever, for all your chick rock fixes, like she's singin' just for you. No just for me then you then everyone else. Highly underrated and much appreciated for her guts and get. Forever!!!
=}~ [ROK Diva's pick today - Still Breakdown]
Sarah Mclachlan - (Pick any Album)
Something different. Never afraid of being inventive or having invention happen. Mysterious yet available is a sweet and loving combination.
=}~ [ROK Diva's pick today - Freedom Sessions]
Sean Wiggins - 1000 Steps ~ Next Time Around
One of the best acoustic albums ever. The energy in this disc from start to finish is quality. Her performance is solid all the way through. Keeping ya til the end given ya that good feeling all over. Doing an acoustic album and need a marker? This is the disc for you and the crew who work with you!

Bitch and Animal - Eternally Hard ~ What's that Smell
The first time I heard any of there stuff was on an Ani D'Franco sampler - Free space I picked up at Salzers Records in good ol' Ventura, CA while checking on RaGnarok Distribution brought it home and totally fell in love with it. The most inventive and ingenious album yet. Full of all kinds of stuff that'll make you think, think again and What did she say?!!! Bold and beautiful, Thank You Ani for the introduction. Can't wait to see em live!!!!

Pink - Mizundastood
Oh my goodness. Didn't know what to expect except that I love PINK ever since the beginning and couldn't wait to get it. SO it came out and I bought it for the house and it just blows me away. Pink has a great command of her voice and puts it many ways. She the cheshire cat with the yellow feather hangin' out of the side of her mouth. A must have for sure. My favorite cuts: 18 wheeler, dear diary, numb and going to california - well just get the album you'll undastan...
Three Doors Down - The Better Life
Rock at its' best. So you've been saying that you miss that rock sound of yestur-year, well here's your chance to go back, yet, stay in the present. If being in the present isn't good for you, this album will take you back to the Rockin' days of the solid and together rock ledgends. Don't believe me ? then you'll just have to buy it for yourself. This album is the edge you wanna fall off.!!
Alicia Keys - Songs in A Minor
This is really neat album. Listened to with no expectations. Borrowed this one from a friend quite awhile ater the release and was truely amazed at how good each song was. Sure you say "of course" yet as we all know, one song doesn't make an album. We really liked "songs in a minor" so much from start to finish, it made it on our Rockanon page. Keep going girl. This is not just a keyboard album, maybe that's what turns me on the most. Nice album girl!
We at the "RokStop" are excited to have the opportunity to review discs
